I really don't know if it's something people go through..... feel inconfident about themselves or something

I still feel self conscious in public... not as much as before though like in high school

I'm 19 btw.... will this pass with time? how do i fix this problem?
I feel like people are looking at me... like when i sit in the middle of the classroom or something.. so i tend to sit in the back of the lecture halls. What is wrong with me!

Yes, it does change over time. If you want to get over it real quick, take a public speaking class in college.

I need to start fixing it little by little.. because I really don't want to go on like this on a day by day basis . I can't fully enjoy life and college if I feel self-conscious about the stupiest little thing. I need to overcome it 🙁

heh. i was until i figured what does it matter what othe rpoeple think

im 30 now but i have always had a big ego. but then again im short and been going bald since i was 14.

i have done well in wrestling. been to state a few times. i have always dated cute women.

one thing you need ot relieze is that everyone is tas you you are. nobody cares if you are ugly and short and baled. just be yourself.

self confidence is what got me all the dates i got. i have to admit i never dated a ugly women. even though i am short bald and ugly.

Everybody goes through this, no matter how confident they act on the outside. The key is once you realize that in life you don't have to impress everyone, or anyone, for that matter. Enjoy yourself, enjoy life, and what happens happens. The same ol' philosophical s#$@ you'll hear everybody else say, but it's the truth.

nah, silly me, i've only been self conscious of Others.

Yes it will pass. the best way to accelerate the process is join the military or another orginization that puts everybody on the same level and allows you to recognize the flaws in others and at the same time see that everybody has those insecurities. Its great to see people who would normally be seen as cool or tough cry. Even better when you realize your actually better at things than they are. But if you can't do that just say tommorow I'm going to sit up front and I don't care if people look at me. Also start a conversation with someone you don't know. Another good thing would be a job where you are forced to talk to people. If that doesn't work see a doctor you may have an anxiety condition.
Edit: High School seems to fvck people up bad. It takes a while to realize people don't care about the silly social rankings anymore.
