I've seen pics in magazines - you add plates to it to change the weight, but it's a dumbell. I can't remember what it's called or find it on google. A decent dumbell set would cost me about $500, whereas I'm sure these are a heck of a lot cheaper!
EDIT: I think I was not clear because I forgot about the old type of dumbells - I'm not talking about the type you buy in walmart with the red twist collar and they don't go up very heavy. Yeah I've used those before - this one I'm talking about I've seen in magazines - it's basically a block and it has some color coding for the weights and you put what looks to be square or weirdly shaped weights on it. I think they can go up very heavy.
