If so, how was the service? They have really good deals comapred to my local mechanic. I can get two tires that I need right now for $51.00 each where as my mechanic wants to charge me $70.00 for each tire. If I buy the ones from Tirerack.com I'll save over $30.00 on the tires + installation.

I've used tirerack for a few years to buy performance tires. No complaints so far.

Tirerack is a great place to deal with. When I bought 20s for my Civic, I got my tires through them. Look at Sears or Wally World for the installation. They will probably be the cheapest.

Great site. I've used it to reserch the best tires for my car (see the user ratings charts), but I've never bought from them. I don't know I just wasn't comfortable with the idea of receiving 4 tires at my house, loading them up in my car, and taking them somewhere to get them installed. I bet some places would charge more if it's not their tires you want them to put on, but I could be wrong.

BJ's wholesale = 9 bucks each for mounting and balancing.

It really wasn't that bad. I bought my current tires from tirerack and they have a good thing goin there. Customer service is good. They called me after I had rececived my tires and asked if anything had gone wrong and if I had any feedback.

Also check for coupons on the site. I got one for 15% of labor to get them mounted and balanced. Also, some places won't even touch your tires if you didn't buy them there. Sam's Club in Atlanta doesn't install tires unless you bought the tires there.

I got tires for both of my cars from there. Save over $100 on the set including installation costs. Very good place to buy from, IMO.

I think costco will basically do it free with tires you didn't even buy from them, but of course you have to be a member.

Used to pricematch to them actually. They have a warehouse up in South Bend, IN so I was able to pricematch. Tirerack is highly recommended by several of my friends from the South Bend area.
