It seems as the OP has a **D camera yours only works on the rebels also known as the ***D

Slightly OT, but I have that remote control and it works great! 2 sec delay, instant picture modes...and its cheap too!

Well I was leaning towards the cheap switch, but having the timer one could come in handy for multiple applications, esp astronomy photography.

Anyone ever use the timer one? The TC80N3

I have that switch and it does everything it is supposed. It is part of my standard carry bag. And, with that, I have the 75 ft extensikon cable. That really makes it useful

I have the remote in the OP and it works just fine. I have the 30D
