Anyone here use Sprint PCS vision with a Laptop/PDA?

Do they charge you extra to this if you have unlimted vision? Technically, thier TOS does not allow this.

Ive been using it for 2 months now and never gotten a single charge for it....

Just dont be excessive about it (i.e. downloading from Kazaa)

On another note, the connection is sometimes flakey and tends to die quite often during periods of inactivity...

What kind of phone do you have? Apparently, some are better than others with vision data. The Sanyo 4900 appears to be particularly bad.

Sanyo 5300 using THIS cable.... Its sweet, charges my phone as well :)

To prevent from being disconnected just use a ping command to keep data flowing. That should solve that problem. And yes, it seems the 4900 has a slower processor then other phones. However, the data cards are where its at for wireless connectivity.

You don't need to download anything. Just open a command prompt window, ping your favorite site with "-t" at the end of the command. This will continually ping until you hit "Ctrl+C."
