Same but we use Microsoft Outlook paired with ancient Windows XP Pro, at least they finally upgraded to IE 8.0 last year. w00t for tabbed browsing and some flash functionality.

Trust me using IE 6.0 is painful !!!

same here. it works well for voice and text. pretty simple.


we still use xp pro also, because the our builds of the software that interfaces with the panels that talk to the tools is not ready with win7.

Office Communicator. It works great. Now if only they could have made their MSN client as streamlined and good as that client...

MS Lync. It's a good way to get a hold of the IT people in my org, since they are usually always at their PCs.

My jabra headset for lync has so good range that the only places I can't take a call with it is in the server room and when I go up on the roof for a smoke.

I love lync, it makes my life just a little easier in every way.
