I got a spindle of 50 from BestBuy....and for some reason when I'm burning a cd, at 22% of track 18, it blows the disk. Doesn't matter what track 18 is or anything..it's pissing me off.

Could be a bug in the program you are using? Or are you accidentally overburning on the cd?

it says I have 1:30 left in free time. Plus it's the same program I always use (Music Disk Creator, Roxio). I got a short CD to burn earlier, but haven't gotten this longer one to burn correctly a single time

I use them all the time never had any problems. I use Nero in windows, and K3b in linux for burning.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARG I just tried a completely different group of MP3's and THIS one gave me a coaster too. I'm returning the spindle to best buy tomorrow and getting a different brand in exchange

I don't believe this. I got ONE cd to burn all the way through, and it only had 10 tracks. I just read that they're not compatible with a lot of cd player brands too :(

I bought a 50 pack of those from BB. About half of them I tried to burn ended up as coasters. I finally gave up and bought better media.

i dunno, what burner. i've never had a spindle like that bad and i've bought most f the cheap deals out there. some just need slower burning, and some burners just suck i guess.

Wow. I didn't even know Dynex was still around. One of the first brands I used when I purchased my 4X burner back in the day.

I've had no problems with dynex or any brand cds really. Maybe your cd burner just sucks?

I've never had a single bad disk from my burner ever....maybe I just need to burn slower...I'm going to try a couple at 8x now...if it turns any into coasters I'm bringing the spindle in for exchange

how many coasters have you already had from that one spindle? I too had to burn at 8x, but thats using my DVD burner, when using my CD burner, it burns at max speed. They should put a note saying "may not burn at max speed for following burners...etc,etc". oh well, they were cheap though.

out of the spindle of 50 I have 3 good disks now and 6 coasters. Both the ones that I burnt at 8x burned fine. I'll try 16x later. I'll never buy another Dynex product again.
