I leave on my trip to Nepal in less than 2 weeks. I'm debating grabbing a generic right angle viewfinder last minute here to help me make some mountain shots more dramatic by being able to better position the camera lower to the ground and shoot up at the mountain.

Does anyone use a right angle viewfinder here? How do you like it? Is it worth it or just a gimmick?

Well.... this would be good for candid shots of the locals. You can be staring down while your camera is actually pointed at them. As far as getting dramatic low level shots, I personally just stoop down.

You may find that unless you have all the time in the world or incredible patience, you might hardly use any of the accessories that you bring. Rather than digging through your pack and mounting/unmounting the right angle viewfinder, you might just choose to stoop down. Same goes with screwing on and off filters, matching up step up/down rings, etc.
