Ours broke and my mom wants me to get another. We've tried a few and most suck. Any recommendations?

Thanks

What did you have/budget?

We bought a McCullough MC1275 and it works well.

We had a shark one that was like $60-70 that was fucking awful, another we got from walmart that was surprisingly good many years ago, and a couple others I think. I was hoping to spend around $50, but I don't know if it's possible. Thanks alkemist.

I bought the small one... The one that looks like a tea kettle. Bissel.

Complete garbage and a waste of money. The steam is only hot if you literally put a finger onto the nozzle. Otherwise I can shoot myself in the hand with this thing all day and it's only mildly warm.

I expected some serious cleaning power since this is supposed to be extremely hot steam under pressure but I was only able to remove mild stains that are not too old. I bought this things specifically to remove that annoying brown stuff that accumulates above the oven on the bottom of the microwave, but it cant even come close to melting that.

I'd be happy to pay more money to buy a steamer with a truly powerful kick, but so far I cant find anything like this that is both portable and not absurdly expensive.

Same here! The damn steam came out cold from the shark one. The previous one was dangerously hot.

Exactly what kind of "steam cleaner" are you asking about?
