Anyone here use a DVD player primarily for Audio CD and MP3?

I am looking to purchase a DVD layer with MP3 playback capability, and I would like to not have it hooked up to a tv. (I hate TV)

Anyone have any experience with a DVD player that works well for Audio CD and MP3 discs with just the remote and the front panel display?

Don't know of any.... but why not an audio MP3 Player then? You want the component size / shape or something?

Only front panel display? I've not heard of anything.

Why not hook up a PC to your receiver?

Or get something like that SliMP3 device.
