Does it take a long time to write ?
I look at chinese in things like motherboard manuals and see how intricate all the symbols are.
Looking at it , it seems it would take a long time to write something in chinese compared to english.
When children learn to write chinese do they start them off with a certain set ?
I read somewhere the language has between 3 and 4 thousand characters one needs to understand to really read it well. I can't imagine teaching that to children.
