I need a linear mic for acoustical measurements. It seems like the Behringer ECM8000 is a budget favorite. I was thinking about pairing this with a Behringer XENYX 502 to fill the phantom power needs.

I was wondering if this is a good combo or if there is a better option(cheaper) for a preamp

I only need 1 mic.
