haha, was going to take level 4 just for the hell of it, but probably will actually study and do 3 next year.
A friend of mine is going for level 3 in Hiroshima. Gambatte.

3 and 4 are a waste of time. any job requiring japanese is going to want at least 2 kyu, more likely 1 kyu. and it's ganbatte, dammit, lol. anywho, i heard they are having 2.5 or something this year or next. should bridge the fucking huge gap between 3 and 2. 3 is joke where as 2 requires some actual knowledge. then 1 is for kanji nazis and the like, lol

I heard they were making level 1 *harder*! And I thought 2 was bad enough. Didn't feel confident enough to be able to pass 2 this year, so I settled for 3. Ah well, there's always next year, as long as I start studying early.
