i searched for the word but didn't find anything with pronunciation. i didn't think of searching for "sionnach pronunciation" though

It's still spoken in parts of Ireland, Scotland, and Nova Scotia. You can even take night classes for it in community colleges in NS.

The Gaelic languages are very much alive, and have been used much more commonly in recent years in Ireland
