Cool, well i cant speak it yet, but i hope to start learning when i get thrown into it sunday :)

why would you take dutch for a foreign language?

I honestly can not think of another language less useful to anyone living ouside the Netherlands. Heck, you don't even need to know dutch to get by in the netherlands... most locals speak english, french, or german in addition to dutch.

Perhaps, you'd get discount in Amsterdam's red district if you speak dutch.
