I constantly pick up pennies and save pennies. People give me pennies because I like to save them. Anyone here save pennies?
 
i leave them

if i get more than a couple in my pocket, i leave them in elevators and next to the vending machines or wherever

the penny needs to be discontinued
 
nah. when i get a big heap of bitch change in my pockets, i usually just throw it on the shelf or desk or whatever
 
The should round all transactions to the nearest nickel. $1.02 will be $1.00, $1.04 will be $1.05 and $1.03 will be dealers choice (or something😉 )

I agree...what i hate more is people selling things ending in .99. WTH? Just make it an even dollar for gosh sake...

I try to do at least $20 a day, it's for confidence, you know?

When you meet someone, chances are, they've touched your ass. Makes you feel better about yourself.

I just found a dingy 1941 pennie the other day. The "tail" side doesn't have the building on it. Instead "ONE CENT" is written on it in large letters with two feathers(?) surrounding it. It could be wheat but I can't be too sure.
 
I certainly don't throw them away. Ususaly all of my change gets thrown into a drawer and when it looks like there is a good amount of change I take it all out and wrap it.

What he failed to mention was that he ROLLS them first! 😉
 
I save pennies, nickels, dimes, and most of those $1 coins on my nightstand (I use all the quarters for laundry and parking) until my little bucket is full and then I take the change to the bank and deposit it. I usually have $30-40 every few months.
 
I have a couple wheat pennies from 1909 I saved :Q. It just seems strange that they were circulated before the Titanic went down.
 
I did have container of pennies that I stored, but finally used them all up. The only pennies I'll save are something that has King George(Canadian) one it.
 
I've been saving pennies since 1973. Everyone I've gotten over the years is in a trunk in my closet. Over 31 years I have amassed about $500.00 in pennies. I am waiting until the offer a 10% reward again then I'll cash out. they should quit minting pennies!!!!

I save every coin I can and pickup every coin I see. I keep a 1x2 inch manilla coin envolope on me at almost all times and deposit the 4-5$ every fornight with my paycheck. Excessive use of my Visa also cuts down on spare change big time :beer: No coin wrapping for me, no more wasted money.
