Anyone here RMA a NV silencer 5 from Arctic Cooling?

I have the NV 5 Silencer and one of the screws broke ( on the back ) off while uninstalling it from my card. I've read where this was an issue for some installing and uninstalling before. I sent an email to their support just now but was interested if anyone here has gotten an RMA on one of these before.

Well, when I tried to RMA it, their cs told me to return the card to place I bought it within 30 days. BTW, their CS email support is weak at best.
 
mine broke too on my silencer 4 for the x800 series

i contacted the place where i purchased it from (case-mod.com) and they said they had to bring it back to the regional supplier for rma approval (svc.com)

svc.com decided to be as$holes about it and said it was a user error when it obviously is simply due to the fact that they didnt use quality parts...i have never broken anything from overtorqueing it with a small tiny screwdriver intended for electronics

so i had to email them direct and i got a response a couple days later and he said svc.com shoulda rmaed it for me, but if they still wouldnt, i could send it to them direct and they'd do it for me, but it would take a long time.

i then forwarded the email to case-mod.com and they bought it to svc.com and then finally they (svc) replaced it for me after seeing the email

i was pretty pis$ed at the time it took, but it got resolved, so i guess im lucky

i got a brand new one btw and havent even tried to install it again...lol
 
Thanks for the replies. I've installed about 5 of then ( all on 6800/6800GT ) cards with no problems at all. Till this one. I'll talk to the local shop where I bought it and see what they can do. At this point Artic Cooling hasn't replied to my email.
