Anyone here remember "The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers"?

I remember Sid and Marty Kroft's Land of the Lost and H.R. Puffenstuff, but not the furry things you speak of.

I remember them. Always looked forward to the next issue. This crowd is way too young to even know what you're talking about.

Of course I'm not!

I used to have ALL of their books as well as all of Fat Freddy's Cat. Until I loaned them out.

I stopped buying them when they started to do the "To be continued" crap.

That's when "The Rip Off Press" really started living up to their name!

I remember that one🙂 They use run Fab Freak Bros strip in the old Berkeley Barb.

Why did they always send fat freddy out to score when he always got ripped off?

Lets all get drunk and go naked and lie in a great big pile.

Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope.

one of the issues had a teaser on the back cover about a movie being made, it never happened 🙁 "In 1979, Universal Studios bought an option on producing a Freak Brothers movie. That option ? as well as several subsequent movie options ? was allowed to lapse. To date, no film version has ever been produced."

Ritalin? hmmm, my sisters kid takes ritalin.... hmmmm
They talked about ritalin in The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers Comic No.5 from 1977
