I was registered for it, but had to cancel as I won't make it back in time...

You would think so, but that's exactly what I did.

[Edit] Unless you're referring to the one-time registration fee, which I wasn't refunded, but doesn't matter because I'll be taking L1 in Jun 07 anyway...

Was refunded for the test enrollment, but not the one-time registration fee.
