No. Unfortunately many documentaries and smaller films do not make it to Blu-ray, so I end up watching/buying them on DVD. Of course given the option I will always watch/buy Blu, and I will sometimes delay watching a film if I think or know it will be on Blu in the near future, but sometimes DVD is the only option.

Blu-Ray? No. HD? Huge consideration. I know when I'm surfign DirecTV, I would rather watch a crappy HD program than a good SD program. In fact, now that I think about it, even though I have AMC in my DirecTV subscription I didn't watch the season premier of Breaking Bad because DirecTV only carries AMC in SD. I was forced to watch via other, more unscrupulous means the following day after I'd given it a couple of hours for an HD version to beam itself into my home.

The fact that I have been dying for two years for that series to resume and that I put it off a day so I could watch an HD copy probably means I am an HD snob.

Nope. In fact I refuse to watch Blueray, because DVD's and streaming video cover pretty much everything I care to see, for a lot cheaper.
