I'm trying to get into producing myself, but due to time and monetary contraints, i have'nt gotten far. So do any ATer's produce/dj? and What sort of gear do you have in your studio?

Another thing i'm wondering is anyone here particularly knowledgeable about synths? in particular virtual analogs? i'm looking into getting one, but i can never decide wich one i really want... i'm waffling between the AN1X (i have a cs2x) the jp 8000/8080, i'd love a nord or a waldorf, but their awfully expensive. Anyone care to recomend anything?
 
depends on what your needs are....
if you're looking for a workstation, i've heard that Yamaha Motif and Korg Triton are da bomb
 
My most usefull electronica-esq synth is the Yamaha FS1-R. And the dx-7. Just wait, all the FM sounds of years ago will be coming back real soon.
