Anyone here playing Titan Quest?

I've been playing it now for a couple of wks & finally made it to egypt.

I like it so far, just wish I could get some more set pieces. I've gotten about 8 blue items while in Greece, although 2 of them where Ram Bows. I also have 2 of the Theban set.

I messed with the online part last night, but it didn't show anything. I was going to try and see if there was any trading going on.

Anyone playing or have thoughts on it?

played it a while back, got a 45 sorcerer. My wife has a 60 juggernaut. We beat epic difficulty and then i pretty much quit. Very samey, though there are new bosses in Epic and again in Legendary. Epic items start dropping in legendary too, which is nice.

What class are you?

i beat normal difficulty and tried to play through thenext highest but it was incredibly boring playing the exact same thing over again. it might have been better if you could switch classes or something.

don't update to the latest patch, it completely nerfs drops.

And good drops don't happen until the 2nd time through anyways.

After getting halfway thru epic, i did an update and it rendered my saves invalid and so i was scrrewed. Uninstalled it out of disgust. It was a great game tho. Ill see if i have intrest in the expansion coming out soon and reinstall it again.

I was thinking about picking this up. What's the consensus on installing the latest patch? If it screws up drops as bad as I've heard that might not be good. Of course bugs in the original are probably annoying too.

I played it for 10 minutes.
It was nice but not impressive.
Game crashed.
I never went back.
Sold it for 5 bucks less than I purchased it.
Life goes on.

I initially liked the game because it was so similar to Diablo 2, and as Blizzard has not seen fit to place any urgency on a Diablo 3, Titan Quest filled the void.

However, Titan Quest felt "too long". I don't normally mind games that take 50 hours to beat, but in the case of TQ it felt like the game was lenghtened for its own sake instead of because there was enough material to justify it. I only got about 6 minutes into the second time through and decided it wasn't worth it.

The only other thing I didn't like was the item information windows. Type was too small and crowded and it was difficult to make comparisons or tell what you were looking at. In D2, the item info boxes were much cleaner and concise.
