I played that game years ago. My European History teacher in high school was amazed at my knowledge of European geography :)

Diplomacy is an awesome game. I'm addicted.
Here is a good resource location: http://www.diplom.org
I play by e-mail a lot, its fun.
Infact, if you want, we could hookup in an e-mail game and dominate the board, I'm sure there are a few games out there right now that need two more players :)

I was just pulled into the game via e-mail. I really have no clue...I'm use to the likes of C&C Generals.

C&C is the same game, just a little faster. And more rules.

I am more accustomed to games where diplomacy means building a giant army, walking across the map and crushing the opposing player's cities like ant mounds under my foot. Such as Age of Empires, Empire Earth, Rise of Nations, etc. :)

The only buttons you will find in the game Diplomacy is, well, other peoples buttons :)
::Sure Austria, I'll help you into Rum...::
::Takes Con, Bul, and Gre while blocking Austrias move to Rum::
::Sorry bout that::

No, really I was half kidding. I do enjoy those games but I am not just about war games. Plus, as for rushing, no I am not good enough to do that. I usually spend waaaay too much time building up my defenses during which the enemy comes a knockin' at my city walls and crushes the life out of me! LOL...yep, I am usually the one getting stomped into the ground ;)

Question: Is it possible for me to use one of my Armies to support the fleet of another country? I can't find the rule for this.

You can support a fleet from (or in) another country IF the fleet is attacking a coastal province and you are bordering that province.
