I remember playing this years and years ago. it popped into my head, but couldn't remember the name so I googled some of the features to find the name.

I did play LONG LONG ago... like VERY long ago.

I had a blast, played too much, and developed some sick prediction skills.

I used to shoot a perfect shots with Boomer against 50~ wind at full power and the shot would go ALL the way past target about 1.5 screen away, then loop back to land the perfect hit.

The game still going on?
 
Woah talk about old, i remember playing this game for a short time way back in 2003-2004 i think, never got any good at it though
 
Yep, I've just been toying with it. The "tutorial" is irritatingly long. Now that it's done, I'm going to disable full screen, relaunch, and kill people with Boomer, too 🙂
 
Played it back in the CS 1.5 days. Ahh those were the days. Not to long ago I was looking into it again, played the latest one for like a game or two it was pretty lame. Then found the classic version is still running but when I downloaded it the launcher crashes trying to start the game. Wonder if there are any games like it?
 
Used to play alot back in the day, Hackers got so high just lost intrest.
Tried it recently but couldnt play as the screen res (windowed) was so small i could not read the letters, There programming department is so outdated.
 
They apparently don't care about catching hackers anymore either, because it's rampant.

I went looking to see how easy it is to find an aimbot and I was surprised to see how difficult it is to find one whose download page doesn't lead to endless surveys or trojan-filled .exe's.

I dunno where people get these, but every single match I played (read: EVERY match) over the course of several hours resulting in the first turn player making ASTOUNDING high angle high power high wind shots dead-on on their first shot, using specials.

It was significantly disconcerting and I gave up after a couple hours. I really wanted to play this game again, but there's no way in hell I'm going to download an aimbot just to be competitive.

That, and there's less than 20 matches going at any one time. Apparently not many play it anymore so you're hard pressed to easily find a match quickly.
 
Played this as well years ago. I personally like playing mage and mammoth. Boomer was popular because of the amount of gold (can't remember the currency) you can get with it. I even remember my friends using their hands as a scale to calculate the angle to shot with with boomer and they were were pretty good at it. I do remember though that hacking became rampart on that game.

Maybe all the players are just zeze clones.
 
I was surprised when i saw someone playing it..... oh the memories of getting good with the boomerang char and also getting dragon from random

There are a 2nd group of special attacks now that affect the team or the map in some way. One of them upgrades that laser satellite to max level immediately. 🙂 I got hit by something like 600-700 damage yesterday in one shot.
 
I remember the game. It was fun, but when they started coming out with cash exclusive armor, it quickly became shit.
 
Yeah I remember Gunbound. A couple of my friends were really really into it back in like 2003 I think. Never caught my interest too much.
