Anyone here play DDR?

Just curious...that game is so much fun.

Wondering if anyone has it for the PSX and if they have the pad. And if so, is it worth it.

Have it for PSX, have 2 pads. Fun game, but if you want pads, don't go for the cheap stuff on egay. Get the official Konami stuff.

Play? No . . . I suck at the game. Sister beats me all the time, got one of those cheapo pads. Definately trying to find something better.

wish i could get one of them steel platform ones, just like in the arcade...but way too expensive...so what is the best one out now? affordably.

You can get the cheap pads off of egay for around $40 for 2. Official Konami pads are expensive though, so unless you really plan on play it alot, it wouldn't be worth it, especially to learn on. They range from $70 to $100 each. I haven't been able to find the Konami ones anywhere for a decent price, so I've had to stick with the ones I got off of egay. Of course, if I went to Japan, I could probably get the Konami ones for the $70 I'm willing to pay. If you want the best pad from Konami, get the DX pad. Has a foam support and the pad, but runs about $150. There's also a supposedly hard pad like those in the arcades.. but I don't think I'd want to see the price of that...

have it for ps...it's alright to get teh cheap ones. i mean the novelty of it wears off so you dont want to get stuck with really expensive pads. a great workout if you do the really up beat ones!

I'm gonna be in Boston on thursday. Anyone from that area know a good place to play DDR and any shops that I might try to visit that might sell the good pads?
