I got it last summer I think when Steam had the Potato Sack deal before Portal 2's release. It's a pretty freaky game, definitely a lot of fun. I got to a certain point and then got stuck and couldn't figure out how to continue, so I gave up. I should probably go back and see if I can finish the game.

I played through it and really loved it! This game will satisfy anyone who can appreciate the atmosphere a game can create.

You know, after reading this thread, I'm thinking of going back and actually finishing the game this time around. Not sure if I still have my old save, but I wouldn't mind replaying it from the beginning.

I tried it out for an hour and a half the other night, and it was alright. I didn't feel like I had any reason to be worried until I finally encountered an enemy, who kind of wandered around off in the distance then seemingly disappeared.

It was kind of like watching a football game you don't care about, while it's on (while you're in) it's kind of interesting, but as soon as you change the channel it's forgotten and you don't really care what happened.

I think the real question is how many people got stuck, got bored and didn't finish the game. <raises hand>

I got stuck once or twice. When I get really stumped, I usually resort to using a walkthrough. But only if I really am stumped.

The only people that i know who weren't scared of this game were playing it like an FPS: They were running through the level, lights-on, people watching, and low volume. Put yourself in the right mindset and this game is terrifying.

looks like you don't belong in this thread eh?

BTW, it isn't scary due to incomming fire or any weapon for that matter

The mindset of an adult and not a 4 year old?

Maybe it's just because today is winding up to not being so great, but dude seriously GTFO.

No one cares about your inflated ego or how this game does nothing for you and you think we are all scared kiddies. You've said you don't like it and the rest of us respect that. You are apparently the exception to the rule as most of us who have at least played the demo of the game can agree it is in fact a bit creepy/terrifying.

Check the ego, stop trolling, and commit to having an adult conversation with the rest of us.

Honestly it's not about being a 4 year old. Some people like to be scared artficially. Why do people watch horror movies? Same shit. Does that make them children? no.

The way you portray yourself makes you more childish than any of the other posters IMO as you sound like that one kid who's too braggish to be afraid of anything like they have something to prove.

If being in the line of fire IRL is the only way for you to be 'scared' then I do not envy you.
