Anyone here own a Samsung 940MW? Also, would like general feedback for my short list.

Just wondering if anyone has this monitor or thoughts about what monitor to get. I know 16.7M colors doesn't necessarily mean 8bit panel, but how do the 6bit dithered panels compare? I've been looking at 19-20in panels in the $500-$600 range and this one looks pretty nice. The TV tuner would be a niceity but not necessity. I would assume HDCP is supported on this monitor since it is a TV also, but I really don't know. I also thought about a Viewsonic VX922 just because it is cheaper and is good for gaming.

Only reason I'm interested in a LCD is because my Eizo decided to start acting up and may be out of warranty. I don't think it would be good to sink another $200-$300 into it, even if it is a really nice CRT, to repair it :(.

Edit: Here's my short list of monitors I'm considering.

Gateway fpd2185w (Nice, but I don't think I'll have money for SLI to run native res.)
Samsung 940MW (features list on Newegg.com "DVI with HDCP")
Viewsonic VX922 (maybe if color reproduction looks good) Saw the VX924 in a Microcenter and colors looked a little washed out.
Samsung 970P (don't like proprietary power and video connector, but do like specs. HDCP?)

"The Syncmaster 244T also features 2 USB 2.0 ports and the component, S-Video, and composite inputs. Video processing/deinterlacing is performed by a Samsung proprietary chip. This is one of Samsung?s five currently shipping monitors with HDCP support. The other models include the 214T, 930MP, 940MW, and 242MP. Although the Samsung website does not mention HDCP, this list of five monitors was provided to us by Samsung Electronics of America."

Well found one answer about HDCP support on the Samsung 940MW.
