Anyone here own a Ricoh/Memorex DVD+R/RW? Need some info

I've been trying to find out if this 2.4x dvdrw (ricoh) will flash to 4X. Can someone point me to a site other than Google or give me some input if you own the drive yourself?

I just bought this drive and I'm trying to find out the same thing.

If you goto the www.memorexlive.com website there is a firmware upgrade that will allow you to upgrade. There is even a PDF paper on their site explaining the process. Just a little nervous to do so myself.

Would appreciate if anyone knows.
