DVD+RW(it's a phillips)

got it for $88 at walmart(it's a long story, but in short, one of the employees thought he was smart so he changed the price to $88 and stuck it in amongst the regular cd-rw's... I guess he was going to get it at the end of the day..... but I just so happened to be looking through the cd burners and found it.... went and found the stupidest looking clerk to check out at, and went on my way)

Me and my friend have figured out a way to copy gamecube games with it... but we have to find some ISOs.....

EDIT: blank DVD-R's are like 3 bucks a pop at newegg.... 8 bucks at like office depot.... DVD+RW media is like 15 bucks and up

Bought my DVRA04 over the net for 380 with DVDit Pro, 10 DVD-R discs, and other software that isn't worth crap. I think it is worth it because I have used it alot for data backup and dvd production. BTW DVDit sucks! Get ReelDVD or DVD Maeustro (sp).
