All the fuking hype is pissing me offff! Literally everyone I know is talking about it!!! Even at my University!!! Every student is talking about it and every FUCKING nerd in the library is watching the trailer LMAO (I'm not joking, I should of took a pic and post it on Reddit.. instant front page) A few of my lecturers is talking about it 2. The whole freaking internet is talking about it 2..WTF? Is Star wars really that good? I have not even seen a single star wars movie... :twisted:

What is sooooooo special about star wars? It's really possing me offff for reals.

The first 3...sure. They were big news when they came out. The next 3? Hell no. They were aimed more at the kiddies...and selling toys. (not that there wasn't a fuck-ton of toy sales based on the first 3, but it felt like they were tie-ins to the movie, not a movie based on the toy sales)

Now that Disney owns LucasFilm, I expect the quality of filming to be good...and the schwag sales to be astronomical.

Yeah it's cool but I don't get super into it like most people do.

I saw the first one in the theatre. I liked it okay.

I didn't see the second one until I was bored one day about 20 years ago and fired up the old VHS tape that my wife had. I loved it. So I watched the third one the next day and was bored.

We rented the fourth one for the kids a few years after it came out. I actually fell asleep in the middle of it. I have not seen 5 or 6. I'm just not a big sci-fi fan. I doubt I'll watch the new one unless the reviews (from non-SW geeks) are amazing.

What amazes me is they expect the movie to make 2 BILLION dollars. So basically if it doesn't make more money than Titanic it is a flop.

Don't think I've ever watched the first all the way through. Seen a couple of the sequels mainly because friends wanted to. It really didn't impress me at the time (and I was prime age for it - high school). Don't know why not - I like Sci-Fi quite a bit.

Considering 4 of the top 10 worldwide grossing movies came this year I don't think they're far off.
