I graduated with a degree in PoliSci. Programs tend to vary quite a bit between schools, but I found it to be pretty interesting for the most part.

I majored in Poly Sci. Loved it. Not one class I didn't like. If you enjoy writing papers and hate multiple choice tests you will love poly sci.

I'm a Poli Sci major. The best thing about poli sci majors is the endless amount of discussion and fluidity in the field. There's always something new to talk about and you meet some of the most charasmatic, intelligent, and confident future leaders in the field.

Unlike a lot of other majors where there's a lot of people who do it because they have nothing else to do, Poli Sci majors are almost always into what they study and are almost always defined by the following charachteristics:

Confident,
Intelligent,
HAVE STRONG OPINIONS,
And very politically and socially ative.

Also downside is that there can be a lot of obnoxious @ssholes who just want to put people down.

What can I say? I love the field, just try to ignore the asswipes.

Majored in it, graduated in 2002. Was bored with it by the time I finished though, so I went to college, got a job and now I sit at work all day on ATOT :D

It *was* my second major, but I'm scaling it back to a minor instead.

What I dislike most - There's a sh!tload of reading & writing to do. This may not be such an issue if it was my only major, but it gets to be too much work as a 2nd major (plus now that I'm working I won't have as much free time).

What I like most - Being on top of current events & being able to listen to people discuss all sides of it. I enjoy chuckling when right & left wingers voice their opinions & engage in a never-ending battle of words. ;)

I'm the only polisci major I know that actually wound up working in politics. Go figure.

I was a Poly Sci major. I switched to MIS with about 1 semester left to finish Poly Sci. I'm tempted to grab the couple of classes I need to finish it and graduate with a double degree. It got boring, I stopped having to think midway through my Jr. year. I still remember the last paper I wrote for the last PolySci class I took..."Is Patriotism a Virtue?" started it 13 hours before it was due, finished in 12 and got a 98 on it.
