If an n-well has multiple ties to a metal layer, it'll bitch and give me an error mesasge "Figure causing multiple stamped connection" when I do extraction. If I have only 1 tie per well, its fine. I can't use just one because that part of my layout has such a big well that just one tie can't cover the whole well for preventing latchup.


HELP? Anyone?
 
By ties do you mean contacts to the nwell? So you're laying out a bunch of contacts over the nwell and trying to connect the mt1 layer to the contacts?
