anyone here know anything about pneumatic systems?

Heya guys,
This cylinder that i will be working with has a 1/8 NPT specified in the catalogue. what does that mean in terms of fittings and attaching a hose to it? from the drawing it appears as though it is some kind of threaded hole on the bottom surface of the cylinder. i was hoping to be able to attach an elbow joint to that and then attach some hose to the elbow joint. I guess i just want to know what size threads those are. thanks,

I'm thinking 1/8 NPT is the thread size. Should be about 3/8" in diameter if I remember right.

You'll have to get a 1/8 NPT elbow and IIRC the hose should thread straight onto that.
