Anyone here into RC hobbies?

Specifically off-road cars/trucks ...

I have an old arse RC10 from circa 11 yrs ago ... and have been thinking about getting back into it.

I've noticed most people are running nitros these days, and they were brand spankin' new back in the day.

Know of any good sites to check out?

Isn't there like an 'ehobby.com' or something. I'm sure there are local shops too. I always suggest going to a physical shop for a lot of that stuff to get info before you buy...it's easier to talk to people who deal with specific brands to find out what they believe is the best of the best. 😉 Then you can compare with what you find on the net and know where everything stands.

Yeah, too expensive for my income when I was in high school. Now that I've moved onto real cars I just have my old ones for occasional play.

I race a Losi Triple X every so often. I went last weekend and broke it twice. I also have a HPI RS4 Pro3 that is freakin sweet. I went with electric over nitro because where I live there are a lot more people to race.

Did it when I was younger. Don't have the time or more importantly the money. Its fun but you need to be with a bunch of people to enjoy it.

I had one but the front axel broke and that ended that hobby pretty fast. Then computers came along, sucking up any second of free time, and then non-free time.
