I need help! I didn't get a software CD (got it off of eGay). I either need a copy, or if you can upload it somwhere that I can download it from, that'd be great! Let me know if you can help!

and no, you can't d/l it from sony's site.
 
Call 1-800-hlp-sony (or whatever the fark) and see if they'll send you one. Tell them yours is fried.

Probably not. I've loaded mine up with all kinds of stuff, mostly games, and a couple memory hoggers in Avant GO and Vindigo and I've filled just over half of the internal 8 megs. So unless you've got gobs of stuff, the 8 meg should cover you.
