The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. It makes a lot more sense putting that engine in the malibu since its more efficient than the 2.4L ecotec.

Thats what I am saying. More efficient as well as more powerful. I'd choose it over the V6 any day.
