Anyone here have T-mobile and use their phone as a dialup modem?

I have a Sony Ericsson T610 with Bluetooth, and I have used it along with my laptop to connect to the Net while in the car.

I have the standard $39.99 plan, nothing special.

How did you set it up? I bought the usb cable and software but still can't seem to get online.

I have the same deal as GTaudiophile. As far as T-Mobile is concerned, it's just a normal voice call. I can't help you with using a USB cable for this as I've never done it. Using bluetooth was fairly straight forward, though.

edit: It should be noted that this is extremely slow. I wouldn't do this unless it's an emergency or you're really bored.

I'm actually going to hawaii next tuesday and need to stay in touch with my realtor and figure this is the most economic way to do so.
