Anyone here have Sprint PCS?

sprint service has been fantastic for me for the last 4 years, the only thing i wish is that they had a better selection of phones

Haha, no less than 30 mins ago i switched from Sprint to Cingular....

It really depends on the region, here in SW florida sprint sucks ass... But i know it to be the best in other regions....

I have had them for the last 5 years and have an "ok" opinion abouth them. There have been alot of mistakes on their part, and their customer service reps are some of the more mentally challenged individuals I have ever spoken to. The good ones were great and always fixed the issues, and compensated me very well for the others shortfalls. That is what has kept me with them. My usage has been as low as 700 minutes a month and as high as 3000. The current vision plan is pretty decent, but their stand alone data package is pricey. My gf has AT&T and my experience with them has been pretty bad. I have no problem recommending Sprint as long as you have a little patience, and are able to discuss certain issues that may arise. They compensate you well for any problems you may have, and that makes it worth it to me.

Yeah, Sprint phones suck.

Everyone else's service blowz (except for Verizon but their phones suck)

I've been with them for 4 years and have been more then satisfied.

I had sprint for like 4 years... just switched to verizon.

Where I live sprint is ok, but the places I needed my phone to work didnt work so well. That and they wouldn't give me any special deals on phones even if I renewed for another 2 years. After I switch, they sent me a 150$ off link 😛 go figure.

Ohh on a side note I switched all 4 numbers from sprint and it took less than 30 minutes for it to switch! Was kinda shocked it was so fast

Using Sprint here out west. No real problems. A year ago, they were going through a system upgrade which caused to dropped calls or unavailable. They provided credit for those instances.

I had some problems out east (dead zones) however, it was everyone, not just Sprint. gain, Sprint was accomidating and tried to resolve the problem. They sold me a new phone to try and resolve the problem. When it did not, the credited the cost of the phone back to me. Service at their stores is poor (cost cutting) but I had heard that about others also.

I've been realtively happy with Sprint and their service. I am currently on a plan with 2 other people that gives us 2000 anytime minutes, unlimited wireless web, unlimited text messages, unlimited nights and weekends, no roaming charges, and free long distance for about $115 a month. Split three ways its about $40 for a cell phone plan I never have to even think about using up my minutes.

I love it like a fat kid loves cake!

Also, I think Sprints selection of phones is the best and for the few times I have had to call customer service, they have given me no problems. Reception could be better but each time I drop a call I get credited for the call so who cares?

I'm happy with Sprint, and the only reason I'd change is if service ended up being iffy wherever I ended up moving to. I've never really had any discrepencies, so I can't speak on their customer service at all. However, I did have water spilled on my phone once, and having it replaced through the insurance program thing was very easy.

3000 minutes a month? Good lord, that's 50 hours, about 12 hours a week. Put the damn phone down, woman.

Be sure to ask people in your area. I had a Sprint phone for 3 years and it would lose reception all the time when I was at work...only on that side of town. They sometimes don't have 100% coverage in cities from what I've noticed. Overall call quality is pretty high though. It's a pretty clear network. I may go back to Sprint eventually....I'm on Tmobile now.

I would think Verizon would have the most complete networks out of the providers. They are basically GTE Wireless who dominated the market for Cell towers back in the early 90s.

I'm happy with Sprint. I wish I had a little more signal at the house, but Sprint is not the only one with poor signal there.

Sprint has a bad reputation with customer support, but all of my encounters have been good.

I switched from Cingular to Sprint about a year ago, and I've had no major problems so far. Customer service seems to be pretty decent (I left Cingular because of poor customer service). The reception out here is much better with Sprint, but that probably varies from region to region. You might want to check with someone who has Sprint service to make sure you get good reception in the places you think you'll use the phone most. For example, you can't get a signal anywhere at the university I attend with Cingular phones. Sprint works fine.

Edit: Forget about something. One of the reasons I love sprint is that they give you a credit line, so if you forget to pay your bill it's no big deal, you can just pay it next month. I'm not sure if any of the other carriers do this.

Make sure to check out HowardForums.com

Very good resource to check and see what other people reccomend for your area....

i have sprint, sprint service < most others i my area, but the price is right. also, make sure you get a phone that works well. i've had them for 4+ years, and a large % of the phones i have had have been total junk, (ie, best features ever, but breaks all the time and is poorly engineered and rushed out).

Wow, are you good at math. But put that crystal ball down and quit pretending you know why I was using that phone. It's called business.

only service around here that works better is verizon, but verizon's data service sucks
