I finally got one through my insurance after going through two sleep studies and a pulmonary expert that specializes in sleep disorders...

its weird i am actually excited about finaly getting some good sound restful sleep and not nodding off through the day

i hope im not setting myself up for disappointment..anyone who has used it have you seen a dramatic difference in the way you feel during the day?

For me, it's not so much not being drowsy during the day (I have severe apnea, but never daytime drowsiness), but it's about feeling MUCH more refreshed when I do wake up.

I don't hit the snooze button a dozen times before getting up. The alarm goes off and I'm just awake.

On the flip side, naps are a thing of the past - my body is so used to the CPAP that sleeping without it just leaves me with chest pains when I wake up.

Overall, very positive.
