Anyone here have rounded ATA66 cables they made themselves?

I did all my IDE's, 4 of them, they work fine zip tied at each and and wrapped all the way with electrical tape... UDMA 66 cable was a little harder, made little 5 wire bunches, same thing, no data loss or problems for 6 months now!

i used fold method althought is not like rounded cable so neat but dont have to buy any rounded tubes 😛 since is hard to find it in canada. It works for all cable even ata66.

I gotta agree with ALstonLoong, I folded my ata/66 cable. I did round my ata/33 and floppy cable without a problem, but the ata/66 kinda scared me.

I have rounded ATA-33 cables in several systems. However, after exposing the wires a couple of times on ATA-66 cables I now fold them. I use zip ties to hold the folds in place.

My current cables were cut, but I'll try folding next time. Just to be safe. After all, it can be just as easily undone. 🙂
