Well does anyone here have one? Where did you get yours? What would you suggest for a long time listener first time player?

I have one, but I haven't put the time into it. I can get a drone going, but I can't circular breathe. I recommend a Digeridrew didg. They're made out of PVC, and are nearly indestructible. They make a good travel instrument, and aren't expensive...

Either watch the whole thing or take it to 3:20 when he plays bass drum, guitar, and didge all at the same time.

why would someone suddenly decide they want to learn the digeridoo?

The didgeridoo sucks. It plays like one note. We have instruments that can play all the notes.

Negative. Drones make the best music. All the notes? Even a sitar doesn't play all of them, and that has more than the western scale ;^)

I meant all the notes in the octave. Obviously no instrument can play all the octaves.
But I hate most "traditional" music. Music has come so far since people started banging rocks together, yet traditional musicians want to whack a stick on a sheepskin and go "look at me, I'm Yo-Yo Ma!"
BTW, sitars make every song they're in worse.
