Anyone here have experience with throat mics?

Im looking for a good throat mic to pair up with an iphone (or other communication device) while on my motorcycle. Googling 'throat mic' brings up a WIDE range of mics from $40 to $400+. I dont need a really high quality mic but I dont want something cheap either, as long as I can be heard clearly up to 80mph, Ill be happy. Has anyone here had experience using throat mics before? Whats a good price? Good brand? What should I look for? Thanks.
