Anyone here have experience with setting up a Half Life game server on Linux platform?

I'm having some configuration problems and need a little help.

Here is the case.
I am running a Linux box with 2 NIC's performing IP masquerading to share to my LAN.
I loaded the half life dedicated server for Linux, but when i run it the program tries to authenticate with won on the LAN (eth1) connection.

I need to re-confugure the hlds program to use the internet gateway NIC (eth0) for authentication, but I am not familiar with the program and reference material is lacking to say the least.

Any iders?

I run a dedicated server for counter strike on a WinXP Pro box. Can't help you with linux and I see you're not getting any help on this forum.

get halfd from Halfd.org
i was reading through the configuration and i noticed a part that said which lan card it would specify and the default was eth0. all Linux servers should have halfd anyway, it has cool features
