I had it bad when I was a kid. The only way I could read a piece of paper was to turn it around, hold it up to some light, and read it through the other side. I did training and eye exercies to fix it. Now it only affects me when I am tired, and I sometimes misread letters or numbers(6's and 9's suck). You might have a mild case if you sometimes transpose letters or numbers, or read things funny. Dyslexia sucks if you have math tests to take :|

Yes, I have dyslexia

I still have very poor spelling but you just learn to get over it. On my computer screen I have a post in note showing what way a b and d point because I cant keep them strait. My fiancée put a card in my cheek book that shows me how to spell the dollar amounts.

What she is doing sounds like dyslexia, but I am not a Dr. I am sure she knows she does it and as long as you don't make a huge deal about it she probably wont have a problem with you asking her.

She is MOM after all.

Also I am not 100% sure but I think you always have this.. I do not think it shows up one day. You may have always had it and it just now is getting worse or something. I do not really know. I will ask my mom when I see her.

speed dial.

I was just told a few weeks ago. Ok, more like 4 weeks, that I had it. The guy I was talking to asked me if I had ear infections as a kid. And I did, llmost yearly. He said ear infections and vision problems as kids are two known symptoms of dyslexia.

Dyslexia is when both sides of the brain are in motion. (something like that). When I write sentences I write and print at the same time. He told me that I should only try to read in short blocks of time.. 15 minutes or so. I also write things backwards. home is hmoe. back is bcak.

I just thought it was because I was in a hurry. but dyslexia explains whyI have a hard time learning math.

don't worry, a lot of great people are dyslexic.
