i'm going to order one because i have a gift card for $50, but i'm just wondering the thickness difference between 2 types.

they have one called UA Rival Fleece then another one called Armour Fleece.

the descriptions are as follows:

UA Rival Fleece
It feels like your favorite cotton hoodie, only better.

Armour® Fleece
Light, stretchy, quick-drying…it’s what you grab when you go to work.

i'm just curious if anyone here has either of them (or both) and i'm wondering just how "light" the armour fleece stuff is, and if it still keeps you pretty warm. i want one that will keep me warmer, but i like the looks of one of those the best. but if it's too light then i don't want to get it.

so just curious if anyone here has any experience with them.

Probably no help since I bought mine a couple years ago and they seem to change styles constantly. Mine are the storm armour fleece. Very warm, I walk 6 or 7 miles several times a week even in the winter. When it's really cold and windy I'll layer it with a polyester or waffle T-shirt underneath. No experience with the Rival. Rival also appears to be cotton where the Armour is polyester.

is the storm armour fleece stuff thin/light but it still keeps you very warm? i don't plan to actually run outside or anything with it, but it'll just be one of the hoodies i toss on whenever i leave the house.

Yes.
Normally I would not pay for overpriced Under Armour crap, but I somehow got a gift card for the sporting goods store, so I went ahead and spoiled myself.

The mens version is thick and heavy. I've worn it to school on some cold miserable days and it protects better than some of the jackets I own.

The womens version is thin and flimsy but costs pretty much the same.

If buying for a woman, I recommend getting her a male hoodie in Small. Much better deal for the money.
