Yes, I've made a phone call and will get in touch with someone on Monday. In any case, anyone know what kind of price range it is to rent out a theater room for a private showing at Regal Cinemas?

Stolen from Regal's site:

"Our auditoriums are available Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 6:00 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. Special arrangements can be made for rentals during peak movie hours subject to approval by the theater circuits film department.

Rates vary by market and typically range from $200 to $500 per hour. Rates quoted are for the auditorium rental only and do not include additional event service"

Is the Regal house the only theatre in your city? Smaller chains will usually be more accomodating and less expensive.

Indian movies for the local market, they seem to be running well even at $10/ticket at the Imax, I might try this myself. They also sell advertising to local shops.

In the area Regal does a good job, nice clean auditorium and has good staff, there are others and I'll probably look around. Nobody wants to pay $10/ticket only to sit in a half ass theatre that isn't clean, you know?

You make a good point though and I will definitely look around for alternatives.
