I wish I had an identical twin. Right now I would make him come to work for me and I would go home drink a beer and watch something stupid on the syfy channel.

If we had a good enough job we can each do a one week on one week off kind of deal.

That could be a double edged sword. They could be swapping out and the one that gets stuck with you gets a good nights sleep (somehow that last word got left out).

I know which is which.

Shes the one that doesn't enjoy sex. Oh wait, that still doesn't tell you anything.

<---- Twin. We never switched classes or anything but in highschool I would be yelled at by teachers for ditching their class. I told them I was a twin and they say "yeah I've heard that before" so we'd walk to the class and I'd wave at my brother when we came in. Nothing like making a teacher feel like an idiot after they've scolded you ;)

It is fun playing tricks on SO's though, at a family gathering my GF went to the restroom and I gave my sweatshirt to my brother to put on and vice versa.. We made him face away from her when she came back. sure enough she came and put her arms around him... everyone started laughing and her response:
"what the hell? oh you bastards"

Vivi's right though, once you know them it's pretty easy to tell twins apart. I've known a few sets also.

Does it make me narcissistic to want to have sex with someone that looks exactly like me?

Somehow I think that your two little stories are better "twins" stories than all the "I didn't know which one I had sex with" stories. :)

I have an identical twin.

We live across the country from each other, and each have our own completely seperate lives. I see him about once a year.

Well, you do look like this, so I don't blame you for wanting you.

My sister was pregnant with twins, but one died in utero. :(

I know this one set of twins, Sally and Diana, and while they look and sound alike with similar mannerisms, they have completely different personalities. Diana is fun and out going while Sally is quiet and reserved. I would marry Sally but party with Diana. ;)

I have younger sisters that are identical twins. (Borderline pedo/jailbait young so no asking for pics.)

They've had very different personalities from day 1. They had their own ideas about favorite colors; we planned all the pastels for the older one and bold reds and blues for the younger one but they preferred the exact opposite as toddlers. They've never played switch on anyone and get slightly annoyed when people mix them up. They did have a few "twin" words when they were little, like names for each other and blankets, but not especially more than any other babies. No complicated twin language though, and it ended as soon as they learned to talk.

I can tell them apart by look and voice though it's hard if they're not facing me, and it's gotten harder as they've gotten older; I call them both "Sugar" or "Angel" and either will answer to that so it saves me effort. :D They know who is older, by two minutes, and it doesn't seem to matter to them much. They boss each other and fight like normal siblings. They never dress the same although they will share clothes. They play the same sports and have mostly the same group of friends.

Similar situation here, although my brother and I keep in touch on MSN most days.

pics?

Hhmm, this is the only picture I could find with both of us in it  And we don't really look similar due to the wildly different expressions. I'm on the bottom left - I'll leave it as an exercise to figure out who my brother is.
