Short of having someone completely redo the wall our A/C unit is in, there is apparently only one model that will be a drop in replacement for the POS builders model Goodman A/C we currently have, an American Standard model (13 seer).
$3600 for the whole job.
When we called people out 1-2 years ago, the Trane and Carrier models that would fit with some drywall work would be $5500 for just the unit, not including how much to rework the wall.
Anyone here have any experience with an American Standard A/C? Looks like they own Trane.
