Hey, does anyone here have a VisionTek Radeon 9600XT 128MB? I'm looking for some pics of one but google has let me down so far.

Thanks.

Oh, if you know a review of one of these cards I'd like to see it.

Yeah, well I also saw and Radeon 9100 marketed as a DX9 card by VisionTek.

I have a feeling that is a diferent VisionTek. The new VisionTek is a bunch of guys who own the name. It isn't the best NVidia OEM that it once was.

Yeah, I know. But I haven't heard much bad about them short of this thread.

For the record, I know all about VisionTek being reborn as an anti-nVidia company that produces ATI based video cards.

why dont you just go with Sapphire, can't go wrong there.

Plus many Manufacturers, don't include the OverDrive feature because of the extra circuitry, but Sapphire does.

There's that and that some of the good management went and made BFG, IIRC.

Because I am being offered a great price on one by a forum member who needs some financial assistance. I don't need Overdrive anyways, I will use Radclocker to overclock as I have with R9500P, R9600P, and R9800. It's not a big deal to me.

Vtek usually sticks to the reference design, so their cards should look almost exactly like an ATi 9600XT. Maybe TigerDirect has a pic?

Thanks Pete. I did check TigerDirect before I made this thread but they just showed a pic of the box.

I'll look at the reference R9600XT for guidance.
