I'm about to upgrade my crock pot (it's only 3.5qt) to a 6qt or bigger and I've been interested in a programmable one, yet reviews on Amazon and such seem to be extremely hit or miss (as in them not following the programming and cooking extremely fast etc).

Has anyone here had any experiences with any programmable slow cookers?

"honey, just turn on the slow cooker at 12:00 so dinners ready when I get home."

Pretty programmable if you ask me. ;)

I've got one from rival, works well.

I don't have one of those :(

Anyways, I have a Rival now -- it works well. I'm just worried, as quite a few reviews have been pretty bad on the programmable ones.

The ones I quickly scanned over come from people that don't know how to use a slow cooker.

I just make it up the night before. In the morning, I take the crock out of the frig. and put it on low before I go to work. It's ready when I come home. :)
